Louisville Slugger have been making bats since 1884 and have been at the fore front of the creation of bats. Louisville, Kentucky has seen many minor league teams roll through the town, this helped create the bats. The Louisville Slugger is the one bat that everyone thinks of when you think baseball bats. The Furniture company had the equipment to make bats very easy and would offer the bats to Minor League players as they came to town. Louisville became the biggest name in bats in Baseball and as a result their bats were wildly used in the MLB. They offer both ASH Bats and Maple Bats for added pop and extra base power. Maple bats offer the hardest nature surface for bats.
